HEARD, Kerrie Leigh - Passed peacefully in the loving embrace of her family on Monday, March 31st, 2008 after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. Born August 27th, 1958 in Toronto, Ontario, Kerrie goes to join her father Ken who predeceased her. She carries with her the undying love of her mother Doris, her brother Scott and her sisters Tracey (Lloyd) and Kyle (Brian), her niece Lindsey (Shane), and her nephews, Anthony, Spencer, Tyler and Connor. Kerrie looks forward to watching over her family and especially her new nephew Jackson. Kerrie had a special place in her heart for her Aunt Bush and Uncle Tom, her Aunt Dorelle and her life-long friend Darlene. She is also survived by her many aunt, uncles, cousins, friends and colleagues. Kerrie will be remembered by all for her great sense of humor, her positive outlook and her selflessness as she battled her illness. Kerrie, we love you and are truly fortunate for having you in our lives. Your heart will go on forever. PACE, Jane - Born in Malta and passed away peacefully
at Lakeridge Health - Oshawa on March 31, 2008. Her greatest gift
in life were her late husband Sam and her five children Maria (predeceased)
Mike, Joe (Sharon) Mary and Charlie (Mary Rose). Cherished Nana to
Brian, Lori, Melissa and Michael and great-grandmother of seven children.
Lovingly remembered by her youngest brother Joe (Australia) and nieces
and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Mary Lela, Guzeppa and brother
Mike (all from Malta). Respecting Jane's wishes a private burial
will be held for family. If desired, donations can be made to the
Canadian Diabetes Association in Jane's memory.
ROTTSCHAEFER, Heinz –
He was a founding member of the German
club in Oshawa (Club Loreley) and an active member of the Scarborough Camera
Club for many years where his photos consistently won awards of distinction.
Although he was an ardent hiker and keen world traveller who was always
expanding his breadth of knowledge, much of his spare time was spent at
his cottage on Lake Kasshabog. Heinz will be dearly missed by Klaus
(brother-in-law) and Christa and family in Germany and by his many friends
in Canada and the United States. Cremation has taken place and a
memorial service will be held at ARMSTRONG

SHEFFIELD, Mary Evelyn - Evelyn passed away peacefully on March 31st in her 75th year. Evelyn was the most caring, warm hearted and loving person you could hope to meet. Her lasting gift was to be a loving mother to her children and the greatest of partners to Victor, her husband of 52 years. Evelyn was passionate about life’s everyday pleasures – a childhood in Minett (Muskoka) lead her to savour the great outdoors which she shared with many friends and family throughout her life. She led an enthusiastic, athletic life enjoying skiing, curling and held a particular passion for golf. The last 17 winters were enjoyed RVing extensively through the USA. Evelyn’s gentle warmth, love and companionship will be so greatly missed by husband Victor, daughters Donna (Phil), Jo-Anne (Jon) Karen (Mike), grandchildren Amanda, Sean, Laura, great grandson Trent, sister Joan and brother-in-law Fred (Noreen). Evelyn was predeceased by son Glen. An extra special thank you to Dr. Bruce Hickey for his unending support and to his family for their kindness. Thanks also to Jo-Anne Quigley, Tara Gault and Val Dawson for their care. in 1951 with her husband, Paul and their three children. They settled
on the family farm in Cardinal, Ontario, where Julie lived for 53 years
prior to moving to Oshawa in 2004. She is predeceased by her husband
Paul and son Peter. Juliana is survived by her daughters Irene Rosbottom
(Arthur) and Ursula Welland (Robert); grandchildren Stephanie Benincasa
